In November 2009 we have finished anticorrosion works on ENSARA unit owned by Dutch ship-owner.

Scope of works performed by TRAP consisted of blast cleaning and painting of ca. 15 000 m2 of hull, cargo holds, ballast tanks and deck areas. Commissioning has been performed by the ship-owner, paint producer representative and contractor, without reservations.

This is our first project performed for the Szczecin's Partner Shipyard.

For 10 years TRAP has been offering services according to international quality standards ISO 9001:2000.

Our clients are most important and works are executed on the highest level. This year's certificate has been extended for 3 years. This shows high expertise gained during 18 years in surface treatment market.

Since June until August of 2009 we have performed metalization on SMW yard in Gdynia.

After blast-cleaning to Sa 2,5 and technical inspection, we have carried out arc-sprayed metalization on 3 700 m2 area. Executed anticorrosion works were done on decks, hull, RSW tanks and other small elements.

Project was delivered in agreed term complying with yard's quality restrictions.

On 1st August 2009 TRAP has been celebrating its 18th anniversary along with its clients, suppliers and cooperants.

Representatives from Repair Yard "Gryfia", which TRAP is cooperating since its beginning, has handed medals and symblic ID card to both of company owners. This year's celebration were varied to fishing competition, where competitors were given prizes, and fire show dance of Lascar group from Szczecin. Full of impressions evening was crowned with fireworks show.

Local Kurier Szczecinski: "Eighteenth anniversary is being celebrated by Szczecin's Trap company. Its everyday job is to fight with corrosion, paint ships and steel constructions in Polish shipyards and abroad".

ICE card and ICE mobile contact input can help rescue party in case of emergency.

In case of emergency seconds count. Don't waste them. Input ICE mobile entry to your contact book and keep the ICE card in you wallet - this will help to identify you in case of fainting. What is more, card and entry will be very helpful when your child got lost.

The entry should start with three letters acronym ICE ("In Case of Emergency") e.g. "ICE-Chris", then rescue team member will be able to find right person to call and ask for your health conditions, alergies, blood group etc. ICE card has three contact fields to relatives, which will give few attempts in calling.

ICE cards are available to get from our production managers. Safety at work and off work depends on all of us.

In the end of March in 2009 TRAP has finished 773 ship enabling transporting part of hull to the Netherlands.

More than five months works at Szczecin's quay lead to successful finish and planned loading hull part on transportation barge. Loading of ship's part was performed using bed-slipping techinics. Scope of works consisted of prefabrication and surface treatment activities. TRAP company has performed full anticorrosion works, all of which have been finished and accepted by paint producer representative and the Shipowner. Ship has received Lloyd certificate.

This is the third ship in a row delivered for Dutch client - Bodewes shipyard. This universal ship with deadweight of 7575 DWAT can by used as container or bulk carrier including dangerous goods transportation.

In the beginning of March 2009, after 5 months, anticorrosion works on NB 772 ship in Jachtwijk in Hoogezand for Bodewes shipyard group.

Works on bow part of ship has been conducted on hull and inner, ballast tanks places in Szczecin, Poland.

In next stage the bow part performed by TRAP on Prokonstal yard has arrived on 9th of January 2009 to Jachtwijk quay where it was joined with the aft part.

On 20th of January 2009 after the christening, naming the ship "Cecilia", and launching we started painting works in tanks.

Finishing works and final technical inspection of paint works in 2nd of March 2009 has been done without reservations from either client or paint inspectors.

The NB 772 ship, after its predecessor 771, is already second where TRAP was performing anticorrosion works for Bodewes. Cooperation so far is satisfactory, what can be proofed with rising value of portfolio from large shipyard group.

On 7th of January 2009 there has been a New Year's meeting in Morska Repair Shipyard in Swinoujscie, Poland. Participants consisted of shipyard's management and long-lasting cooperants. In pleasand and friendly atmosphere greetings has been done for 2009.

Our cooperation with Swinoujscie's shipyard is exceeding 10 years. This period can bestly describe trust that both of companies has for each other.

In December 2008 our company has received a Certificate of Reliable Payer.

Document issued by InfoMonitor Biuro Informacji Gospodarczej S.A. testifies about no arrears in following governmental and private databases:
- Bankowy Rejest Zwišzku Banków Polskich (Bank Register of Polish Banks),
- Biuro Informacji Kredytowej S.A. (Bureau of Load Information),
- Centralna Ewidencja Dłużników (Central Debtor Register).

Certificate is a confirmation of company's policy towards cooperating firms, putting a stress on solid and long-lasting relations.

On 23-26th September SMM took place in Hamburg.

1,965 exhibitors and more than 50,000 people visited this year's 23rd shipbuilding, machinery & marine technology international trade fair organized every two years in Hamburg Messe. The wide spectrum of products and services ranged from sea vessels's turbine, classification services, to expensive fabrics for luxurious yachts.

Being there, we had opportunity to get to know new technologies on surface treatment market, and meet our sector partners and clients.

September has brought us a nomination to Solid employer of West-Pomeranian region 2008 granted by Law Paper's Economic Review.

Criteria, which organizer has used in choosing nominees and finalists, is first of all solidity of hiring policy which main role play:
- working environment,
- timing of salaries payed,
- social conditions,
- in-house developement (employees training),
- external na internal opinions about company,
- dynamics of employment from last few years,

Competition "Solid employer of year" selects and chooses these organizations, which exceptionaly fulfill their employee's responsibilities. Thousands of companies takes part in competitions from all regions of Poland.

In August/September 2008 we have metalized one of Gjoa rig sections for Morska Stocznia Remontowa shipyard in Swinoujscie.

After blast cleaning and quality commissioning, we have started application of 99,8% pure aluminium using our metalization arcspray according to 2A painting system and NORSOK M-501 requirements. Total area for metalizing was approximately 410m2. Project has been carried out timely and there were no reservations by shipyard's and Carboline inspectors with quality commissioning of metal coating.

On 30th of August took place 17th TRAP's anniversary party.

Roast beef, barbecue, rural food, fishing competition and tennis, these are just few of attractions on meeting. Beautiful weather definitely made a pleasand and friendly atmosphere.

The guest list consist of representatives of paint producers, shipyards, steel companies and long-lasting cooperants.

We have participated in international Offshore Northern Sea (ONS) exhibition on 27th August.

From 26th until 29th of August there took place energy exhibition ONS 2008 in Stavanger, Norway. Held every two years international meeting has been held 18th time gathering offshore professionals from all over the world. This year's exhibition had focus on receiving energy from LPG and oil and had a record of 38000 participants, from which half were outside fiord's country.

TRAP has supported sportsmen in 84th Polish Championship in Athletics in Szczecin.

Relentless rivalry and weariness - that is how you could describe athletics championship organized in 4-6th July on Wieslaw Maniak stadium in Szczecin. From Friday until Sunday country's best atheltes, including several olimpic winners, have competed together.

TRAP company has been the sponsor of 110 meters men hurdle race.

The 22 of July 2007 was the day, when TRAP company had it's 16th anniversary of it's existence. For that occasion, a big anniversary party did take place the 8 of September 2007, in the "Park" hotel in Szczecin.
